Philadelphia Museum is an art museum that was built in 1876, but construction began in 1919, during the reign of Mayor Thomas B. Smith. Formerly Philadelphia Museum is a School of Industrial Arts, and when the museum was founded named Pennsylvia because it was inspired by a Victorian museum in London.
Now, museum of Philadelphia is at the west Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Philadelphia, and has become one of the largest art museum in the United States.
